Stronghold 4 Price: Cost, Editions, Where to Buy
How much is Stronghold 4? Firefly has not announced the price yet: on October 28, 2026 Steam showed no price and no pre-order. Here is what we know, and what Firefly charges for its recent games.

Stronghold 4 price: not announced yet
There is no official price. The Steam page has only the wishlist button and the free demo, and the press kit lists the regular price as “TBC” in USD, GBP and EUR. The price will appear on the Steam page once the game can be bought or pre-ordered, and we put it here the same day.
What Firefly charges for its recent Stronghold games
For a sense of scale, here are the current Steam prices of Firefly's last two releases, checked on October 28, 2026. They are remakes of older games, so a brand-new game like Stronghold 4 may well cost more:

Both also sell extra campaigns or characters as small DLCs. Stronghold 4 has no DLC listed so far.
The Early Access price may rise
In its Early Access answers on Steam, Firefly says that as new features and content are added, it may consider raising the price during Early Access. So the December 7 price may be the lowest one, at least outside of sales. If you plan to play the Early Access content (the 22-mission campaign, Skirmish and Free Build), buying early is the cheaper bet; if you want online multiplayer, it only comes with 1.0 (see Stronghold 4 multiplayer).
Editions, pre-orders and where to buy
No editions, pre-order bonuses or DLC have been announced, and Steam is the only store named. Before you buy, check your PC with the Stronghold 4 system requirements checker and play the free Stronghold 4 demo. The release countdown shows how many days are left until December 7.

How much does Stronghold 4 cost?
The price has not been announced. On October 28, 2026 the Steam store page showed no price and Firefly's press kit listed it as TBC in US dollars, pounds and euros.
Can I pre-order Stronghold 4?
Not yet. Steam only offers the wishlist and the free demo. If Firefly opens pre-orders, they will appear on the Steam store page.
Are there Stronghold 4 editions?
No editions have been announced: no deluxe, collector’s or supporter edition, and no DLC listed on Steam.
Will Stronghold 4 be more expensive after Early Access?
It might be. Firefly writes on Steam that as features and content are added, it may consider raising the price during Early Access.
Is Stronghold 4 free to play?
No, it is a paid game. Only the demo is free.
Where can I buy Stronghold 4?
On Steam, the only store and platform announced. Keys sold by other shops are only safe from shops authorised by the publisher.
